Kuldeep Yadav's Wedding: A Gathering of Cricketing Legends

The wedding of Indian cricketer Kuldeep Yadav is set to attract numerous cricketing stars in Mussoorie, Uttarakhand. Reports indicate that former Indian captains Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are expected to attend the event. Jasprit Bumrah, who recently celebrated a T20 World Cup victory alongside Kuldeep, is also likely to be present.

The prestigious Savoy Hotel in Mussoorie is currently undergoing preparations and decorations for the wedding festivities. Kuldeep and his fiancée, Vanshika Chadha, will tie the knot on Saturday, March 14. The hotel has been fully booked for the occasion, ensuring privacy for the couple and their guests for two to three days.

In addition to Kohli, Rohit, and Bumrah, several other notable figures from the cricketing world are anticipated to join the celebrations. This includes T20 World Cup champions Rinku Singh and Tilak Varma, as well as cricket legend Sunil Gavaskar and current T20I captain Suryakumar Yadav.

Yuzvendra Chahal, another Indian spinner, expressed his excitement upon arriving in Dehradun for the wedding. He shared his enthusiasm for the celebrations and his close bond with Kuldeep, stating, "I am very excited for my brother's marriage. I will dance a lot and enjoy," hinting at the festive atmosphere expected at the event.

Reports suggest that Kuldeep postponed his wedding, originally scheduled for November 2025, to focus on contributing to India's success in the 2026 T20 World Cup. The couple, who grew up just three kilometers apart in Kanpur, got engaged last year in Lucknow. Currently, Vanshika is employed at LIC.

During the T20 World Cup, Kuldeep made a notable appearance, achieving impressive figures of 1/14 against Pakistan in the group stage. Last week, his father, Ram Singh Yadav, personally invited Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to the wedding.
