Temba Bavuma, the captain of South Africa, has unveiled the team's lineup for the eagerly awaited World Test Championship Final set to take place against Australia. This pivotal match is scheduled for June 11 at the iconic Lord's Cricket Ground in London.

Leading the squad, Bavuma will also be supported by Kyle Verreynne, who takes on the role of wicketkeeper. The pace attack features prominent bowlers Kagiso Rabada and Lungi Ngidi, while all-rounder Wiaan Mulder is positioned at the vital number 3 batting spot.

The opening pair consists of experienced batsman Aiden Markram and Ryan Rickelton, who is also available as a backup wicketkeeper if necessary. Following Bavuma at number 4, Tristan Stubbs will bat at 5, with David Bedingham at 6. Additionally, they faced elimination at the hands of New Zealand in the semi-finals of the 2025 Champions Trophy.

The team aims to overcome past disappointments, make history, and secure a victory against the defending champions, Australia, to claim their first World Test Championship title. This match promises to be an exciting showdown between two top-tier Test cricket nations at the Home of Cricket.
