Victory at Oeiras 4 ATP Challenger
In a remarkable performance, India's Siddhant Banthia teamed up with Bulgarian Alexander Donski to secure the doubles championship at the Oeiras 4 2026 ATP Challenger 100 tournament held in Portugal on Saturday. The unseeded pair triumphed over Portugal's Tiago Pereira and Spain's David Vega Hernandez with a score of 6-3, 6-2, completing the match in just one hour and three minutes on the clay surface, according to reports.
The duo faced a moment of tension during the first set. They carried this momentum into the second set, breaking their opponents' serve in both the third and seventh games to clinch the match.
Banthia's Third Challenger Title
This victory marks Siddhant Banthia's second ATP Challenger doubles title of the current season and his third overall, all won in partnership with Donski. For Donski, this was his fourth career doubles title. Earlier this year, the pair also won the doubles championship at the Delhi Open ATP Challenger 75 tournament, defeating India's Niki Poonacha and Thailand's Pruchya Isaro in the final.
