Shubman Gill's Scary Moment During India vs England Test Match
A Frightening Incident on Day 3
During the third day of the second Test match between India and England at Edgbaston, a tense moment unfolded when Shubman Gill was struck on the head while positioned at first slip in the opening session.
This incident took place in the 37th over as Ravindra Jadeja bowled to Harry Brook. Brook attempted a strong drive, but the ball deflected off the edge of his bat and sped towards Gill. Unfortunately, he was unable to react in time, and the ball hit him on the top of his head before he could raise his hands to protect himself.
The team's physiotherapist quickly rushed onto the field to assess Gill's condition. Thankfully, he appeared to be fine and did not seem to have sustained any serious injury. The moment caused concern among players and spectators alike, but relief washed over everyone when Gill stood up, seemingly unharmed.
