Shubman Gill Achieves Historic IPL Milestone

In a remarkable feat, Shubman Gill has become the youngest cricketer to score 4,000 runs in the Indian Premier League (IPL). This achievement occurred during the Gujarat Titans' match against the Lucknow Super Giants at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow on Sunday.


Gill reached this milestone at the age of 26 years and 216 days, surpassing the previous record held by Virat Kohli, who accomplished the same feat at 27 years and 195 days in 2016.


Currently, Gill boasts a total of 4,031 runs from 118 IPL innings, maintaining an impressive average of 39.91. His record includes 28 half-centuries and four centuries.


In terms of speed, Gill is now the fifth fastest player to reach 4,000 runs in IPL history. KL Rahul holds the record for the quickest, achieving this in just 104 innings.


Gujarat Titans Triumph Over Lucknow Super Giants

During the match, the Gujarat Titans chased down a target of 165 runs, with Gill contributing 56 runs off 40 balls, which included six fours and a six. His innings laid a solid foundation for the team's success.
