Shivraj Singh Bhati's Impressive Performance


Shivraj Singh Bhati earned a silver medal in the Open Men’s Singles at the Bharat Open, a PWR 400 event sanctioned by the Indian Pickleball Association, which took place from March 20 to 22 in New Alkapuri, Sevasi, Vadodara. In a tightly contested final, Bhati showcased his skills but ultimately lost to Aman Patel, finishing as the runner-up after a challenging match. The tournament attracted a strong field of competitors, with Bhati standing out in the open division due to his consistent and controlled gameplay throughout the rounds.


After the match, Bhati shared insights with Pickleball Now regarding his preparation and the challenges he faced. He expressed gratitude for the training he received from Dhiren Patel, a seasoned national coach. “I dedicated significant effort to my training. Aman played exceptionally well, and I look forward to improving for our next encounter,” Bhati remarked.


He also commended the event organizers for their effective management, particularly in catering to players' needs during the matches. “The venue was excellent, with ample hydration and essential supplies available,” he noted. Despite not clinching the title, Bhati's performance highlighted his potential in the open category, and he aims to leverage this experience to secure victories in future domestic competitions.
