Perform like you do in local matches.' That really helped me. I was feeling a lot of pressure, but it turned out to be a fantastic day."

Hailing from Moradabad, Shiva is well-acquainted with competitive cricket, having represented Uttar Pradesh in all formats. However, a five-over match demands a unique strategy. "The approach is straightforward," he explained. "You need to assess the batsman, the pitch, and the conditions, and adjust your bowling accordingly. Shiva's career has been closely linked with some of the brightest talents in Indian cricket. "I concentrate on improving my skills rather than comparing myself to others."

Previously, Shiva was a key player for the Kashi Rudras, helping them secure two titles in the first three seasons of the UP T20 League. This season, he was acquired by the Noida Kings for an impressive Rs 17.5 lakhs, marking him as one of the tournament's top purchases. "Performing well here can lead to opportunities in the IPL and for the state team," he noted. "I aim to excel in this new team after three years with Kashi, hoping to contribute to Noida's success this season."

At Noida, Shiva plays under the captaincy of Prashant Veer, who carries significant expectations. Veer made headlines when he was sold to the Chennai Super Kings for Rs 14.20 crore, becoming one of the most expensive uncapped players in IPL history.
