A victory over JSK would allow the Sunrisers to reclaim their top spot, according to the SA20 website.

On the other hand, the Super Kings have the opportunity to return to the top for the first time since their fourth match if they can overcome the Sunrisers.

Sunrisers Focused on Playoffs

Adrian Birrell, the coach of the Sunrisers, acknowledges that his team must perform at their peak to secure a playoff position. He stated, "It was never going to be easy. This team is formidable, and we are also a good team. We will face Joburg (Super Kings) and then MI Cape Town twice."

"There are no easy matches, and we remain grounded. We were aware of the challenges ahead, and our goal is to reach the playoffs and aim for a top-two finish. We are eager to secure our playoff spot," Birrell added.

Joburg Super Kings Face Setback

The Joburg Super Kings will need to strive for their playoff position without their captain, Faf du Plessis. The 41-year-old was ruled out of the tournament after sustaining a thumb injury while diving during Game 21 against MI Cape Town.
