Currently, Ronda Rousey is cherishing her family life, raising her two children with husband Travis Browne. Her recent maternity leave was a significant factor in her departure from WWE in 2023, despite receiving a major push in the women's division. Although she had a fallout with the organization, there are indications that she may return in the future.

During a segment on Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez shared that WWE remains keen on collaborating with Rousey again. He also noted that Shayna Baszler, who was recently let go, could potentially return if Rousey expresses interest in her comeback. Thus, while Baszler is currently absent, a reunion in WWE is still a possibility.

“WWE does still want to do something with Ronda Rousey. Shayna Baszler obviously retired Ronda Rousey, or at least her last match in WWE. So I could not say that there’s no chance we’ll never see Shayna Baszler again,” Alvarez commented.

“I cannot say we’ll never see Shayna again because if WWE makes a deal with Ronda and Ronda wants Shayna back, she’ll be back.”

Following Wrestlemania 41, the unexpected release of Shayna Baszler from the active roster surprised many within WWE.

Ronda Rousey's Criticism of WWE's Previous Management

Ronda Rousey has openly criticized WWE's former management under Vince McMahon. She faced backlash last year for her comments directed at McMahon's associates, Bruce Prichard and John Laurinaitis, whom she accused of gender discrimination. At one point, she expressed her frustrations by telling them to go ‘f*** themselves’ due to their treatment of women compared to men.

However, in a subsequent interview, Rousey acknowledged that the women’s division has improved since McMahon's departure and expressed no animosity towards the current leadership under Triple H. This opens the door for a potential return, allowing her to move past previous grievances. Her last match was against Shayna Baszler at SummerSlam in 2023.
