As of now, there has been no official confirmation regarding his potential move. Kohli previously relocated to London to seek privacy for himself, his wife Anushka Sharma, and their children, leading to much speculation about his exact residence.

Before the London rumors emerged, there were social media claims suggesting that Rohit might settle in New York. These reports surfaced around February, but no official statement has been made to validate those claims.

Recently, Rohit Sharma has been in the spotlight for an unexpected controversy involving his cricket academy in Dubai, which has suddenly closed its doors. The Rohit Sharma Cricket Academy, established in collaboration with Grasport, is facing allegations of unpaid dues to several coaches affiliated with the ICC, many of whom are now struggling financially.

Coaches from various countries have reported that they have not received their payments since April or May. The academy, which began with high hopes, has reportedly suffered from excessive operational costs and inadequate financial planning. Suhas Pudota, the Grasport founder, left Dubai in April, and CricKingdom subsequently severed ties with Grasport, citing the inappropriate use of Rohit's name and image.

Parents of students have also filed complaints, seeking refunds for incomplete training sessions. Although Rohit Sharma has yet to publicly address the situation, this incident has undoubtedly tarnished his reputation, associating him with financial mismanagement and growing dissatisfaction among those affected.
