Rohit's Performance in IPL 2025

Currently, Rohit Sharma, representing the Mumbai Indians (MI), stands as the second-highest run-scorer for his team this season. He has amassed 410 runs over 14 innings, maintaining an average of 31.53 and an impressive strike rate of 150.18, including four half-centuries.

After a rocky start to the season, where he was dismissed for a duck against Chennai Super Kings, Rohit rebounded with a match-winning score of 76* (45) in a rematch against CSK. He has also contributed significantly with fifties against Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rajasthan Royals.

In a crucial Eliminator match against Gujarat Titans, he scored 81 runs off just 50 balls, hitting nine fours and four sixes. This performance made him the second player in IPL history, after Chris Gayle, to hit 300 sixes.

In that match, MI set a total of 228/5 and successfully defended it, limiting GT to 208/6. The Mumbai Indians are now set to face Punjab Kings (PBKS) in Qualifier 2 on Sunday, June 1, at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The winner will advance to the IPL 2025 final against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) on Tuesday, June 3.
