Rohit acknowledged that the trophy would not have been possible without Hardik's efforts, recalling an emotional moment when he embraced the all-rounder, referring to him as 'my man'.

"This was an emotional moment. Hardik is my man, he did the job for me and the team otherwise we would've been sitting without anything in our hands."

In a special program titled 'Champion Wali Feeling Phir Se' aired by a broadcasting channel, Rohit discussed their T20 World Cup success. He emphasized that the trophy was crucial not just for him but for the entire team, revealing the extensive planning and hard work that went into their preparation.

"It meant so much to all of us, to that group. We'd experienced the heartbreak of coming so close and falling short. That's why it was special. We planned meticulously.
