Rohit Sharma, India's prominent opener, has resumed practice ahead of the upcoming three-match ODI series against England, set to kick off on July 14 at Edgbaston, Birmingham. During his training session, the experienced batsman showcased his skills, executing a variety of stylish shots, including straight and cover drives with remarkable ease. Currently, India is engaged in a five-match T20I series against England.

Entering the ODI series, Rohit has recently scored 16, 48, and 79 runs in the preceding series against Afghanistan last month. Known as the 'Hitman', he ranks as India's third-highest run-scorer in ODIs, amassing 11,720 runs from 285 matches with an average of 48.83 and a strike rate of 92.97. His record includes 33 centuries and 62 half-centuries, with his unbeaten 264 against Sri Lanka at Eden Gardens in 2014 standing as the highest individual score in ODI history.
