"I've played those shots before and found fielders. Sometimes, luck plays a role, and today was one of those days for me," he remarked.

Despite being dropped twice, Rohit capitalized on his opportunities, anchoring the innings alongside Jonny Bairstow, who made a quick 47 runs off just 22 balls in his debut for MI this season. Rohit recognized the fielding errors but emphasized the need to maintain momentum.

"Those catches were missed, but even after that, you must perform to score runs. I focused on maintaining our momentum, which was excellent from our batting unit, leading to our impressive score. Our bowling was also commendable," he added.
