Rinku Singh and Priya Saroj Set Engagement Date After IPL 2025

Indian cricketer Rinku Singh is set to get engaged to Priya Saroj, a Member of Parliament from Jaunpur's Machhlishahr. Their engagement is scheduled for June 8, following the conclusion of IPL 2025. The event will take place at a luxury hotel in Lucknow, while the wedding is planned for November 18 this year at the Taj Hotel in Varanasi.

The news of Rinku and Priya's impending marriage first emerged in January when Priya's father, Tufani Saroj, confirmed that discussions had taken place between their families regarding the union.

According to family sources, all wedding ceremonies will occur at a five-star hotel in Varanasi, with a limited guest list for the engagement. The engagement in Lucknow will see invitations extended to 21 MPs, including the entire family of former Chief Minister and Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav. Several prominent players from the Indian cricket team are also expected to attend, with Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir among those likely to be present. The engagement and wedding are anticipated to attract numerous personalities from both the political and sports arenas.

It is noteworthy that discussions about Rinku Singh and Priya Saroj's marriage began earlier this year in January, indicating that the couple was on the verge of tying the knot. However, the specific dates for the engagement and wedding were not finalized at that time. Priya Saroj, a senior leader of the Samajwadi Party, has previously served three terms as an MP from the Saidpur and Machhlishahr constituencies in Jaunpur. In January, Tufani Saroj had mentioned that the engagement date would be set after the T20 and IPL seasons, and now the dates for both the engagement and wedding have been officially confirmed.
