The wedding of Indian cricket star Rinku Singh and Samajwadi Party MP Priya Saroj has been postponed. Initially scheduled for November, the couple has decided to delay their nuptials due to Rinku's packed schedule during that month. Recently, the couple got engaged in Lucknow.
According to a report from a local news outlet, the wedding has been rescheduled for February 2026 due to Rinku's commitments with the Indian cricket team. Family members have indicated that the new wedding date will be announced soon.
The report also mentioned that the Taj Hotel in Varanasi was booked for the wedding ceremony on November 19. However, since Rinku will be representing the national team during that time, both families agreed to postpone the event. It is noted that the hotel has been rebooked for February, but the specific date has yet to be revealed.
Notably, Rinku and Priya got engaged on June 8. Following their engagement, Rinku shared a post on Instagram expressing his excitement for this long-awaited moment. Recently, he represented the Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL 2025, while Priya serves as an MP from the Machhlishahr constituency in Uttar Pradesh.
