Rhea Ripley Qualifies for Money in the Bank 2025

Kairi Sane made her long-awaited return to WWE Raw this week, but unfortunately, she did not qualify for the Women's Money in the Bank 2025 Ladder Match. Instead, Rhea Ripley, known as MAMI, will be making her debut in this highly anticipated match scheduled for early next month.

During the May 19 episode of WWE Raw, Rhea Ripley triumphed over Kairi Sane and Zoey Stark in a Triple Threat Match, securing her spot in the Women's Money in the Bank 2025 Ladder Match. The match shifted to a one-on-one contest after Stark was sidelined due to a knee injury sustained during a drop-kick attempt, necessitating her removal from the ring for medical evaluation.

The two remaining competitors engaged in a fierce back-and-forth battle. Ripley executed an inverted Cloverleaf to inflict pain on Sane, who managed to escape and retaliated by sending Ripley crashing into the turnbuckle. Sane attempted to climb to the top rope but was intercepted mid-air by a dropkick from Ripley.

Sane then delivered a sliding elbow to set up for her signature InSane Elbow, but Ripley countered with a powerful boot. Ultimately, Ripley secured the victory with her finishing move, Riptide, earning her place in the Money in the Bank 2025 ladder match as the third confirmed participant.

Last Friday on Smackdown, Alexa Bliss became the first competitor to qualify by defeating Michin and Chelsea Green. Following that, on Raw, Roxanne Perez overcame Becky Lynch and Natalya in another Triple Threat Match, securing her spot as the second entrant for the Women's Money in the Bank 2025 Ladder Match. This week on Smackdown, a qualifier featuring Charlotte Flair, Giulia, and Zelina Vega is set to take place.

The 2025 edition of Money in the Bank marks the 16th installment in this popular series, which began in 2010. The event will be held at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, California, on Saturday, June 7th, starting at 7 PM Eastern, available on Netflix in the U.S. and internationally.
