Rhea Ripley Shines at WrestleMania 41
For the sixth consecutive year, Rhea Ripley participated in a title match at WrestleMania. Although she did not secure a victory, she captivated the audience alongside her two opponents in a match that many deemed a highlight of Night One in Las Vegas.
In a recent interview with a Media Channel while promoting the upcoming WWE Crown Jewel 2025 event in Perth, Australia, Ripley shared her thoughts on CM Punk's remarks suggesting that her match should have headlined WrestleMania 41.
Ripley expressed her admiration for CM Punk, stating that it felt surreal to receive such praise. She elaborated on the match, emphasizing her confidence that she and her competitors would deliver an unforgettable performance at WrestleMania, which she now considers one of her favorites.
“We know each other very, very well, and we’re three of the best in the women’s division, so to put us all in one match, and at WrestleMania, we’re gonna go absolutely balls to the wall. So that’s exactly what we did,” Ripley remarked. “It’s been put over as a five-star match for a reason, and it’s probably one of my favorite matches now as well.”
Rhea Ripley’s Title Streak Concludes at WrestleMania 41
In the opening match of Night Two at WrestleMania 41, held at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, IYO SKY (c) triumphed over Bianca Belair and Rhea Ripley in a Triple Threat Match to retain the Women’s World Championship. The commentary team highlighted this match as an instant classic, with SKY securing victory by pinning Belair with her signature moonsault.
Prior to WrestleMania 41, Ripley had an impressive 3-0 record in world title matches at the event. However, she faced defeat this time, despite not being involved in the final pinfall.
