Exciting Developments Ahead of the WTC Final

As the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) Final 2025 approaches, scheduled for June 11 at Lord's, the International Cricket Council has unveiled a historic prize pool for the match between Australia and South Africa.


The total prize pool for the 2023–25 cycle has reached an impressive USD 5.76 million, which is more than double the amount awarded in the previous two cycles. The champions will receive USD 3.6 million, a significant increase from the USD 1.6 million awarded to winners in 2021 and 2023. The runners-up will take home USD 2.16 million, up from USD 800,000 previously.


India, finishing third in the WTC standings, will earn USD 1.44 million. Other teams like New Zealand, England, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, West Indies, and Pakistan will also receive varying amounts based on their final standings.
