RCB's Proposal for AI Cameras

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) has submitted a formal proposal to the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) to install between 300 to 350 AI-enabled cameras at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. This cutting-edge surveillance technology aims to assist KSCA and law enforcement agencies in effectively managing crowd movement, ensuring orderly queue systems, tracking entry and exit in real-time, and enhancing overall fan safety.


Benefits of AI Surveillance

The proposed solution leverages advanced analysis of video, audio, and text data to expedite investigations and facilitate quick, accurate decision-making. Its real-time AI video analytics capability allows for the swift detection of incidents such as violence, unauthorized access, and intrusions, thereby aiding prompt and effective law enforcement responses. RCB has committed to covering the total estimated cost of this initiative, which is around ₹4.5 crores.
