In an interesting turn of events, Jitesh Sharma is stepping in as the captain for RCB after Rajat Patidar sustained an injury. RCB won the toss and opted to bowl first. Jitesh reflected on the irony of captaining against SRH again, having previously led Punjab Kings against them. This match marks his second time as captain, and his first with RCB. He also mentioned that Rajat will participate as an impact player, while Mayank Agarwal will take the place of the injured Devdutt Paddikal.
