Since last summer, Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez have been a formidable team on WWE Raw, dominating the Women's Division. As members of the Judgment Day faction, they have achieved remarkable success, becoming multiple-time Women’s Tag Team Champions and asserting their claim as the greatest in history.

Recently, Raquel Rodriguez, one half of the current Women’s Tag Team Champions, joined the Battlegrounds Podcast to discuss her championship journey and the significance of her cultural heritage. She highlighted their historic achievement of becoming four-time champions just after WrestleMania 41, making them the only duo to win the titles on four occasions.

“It feels so good because it just affirms everything that Liv and myself have been saying this entire time that we are the greatest women’s tag team champions of all time,” Rodriguez expressed.

“We made history by becoming the first ever three-time tag team champions and then having that little upset at WrestleMania, but getting them right back the night after and becoming the history making, record-breaking four-time women’s tag team champions.”

The Journey to Championship Glory

Following WrestleMania 41, a new rivalry emerged between Lyra Valkyria and Becky Lynch, but Morgan and Rodriguez, both hailing from Ireland, faced off against them for the Women’s Tag Team Championship. Despite losing the titles at WrestleMania, they quickly reclaimed them the next night on WWE Raw.

This victory marked Rodriguez's fifth tag team title reign in WWE, the highest for any female Superstar in the tag division, including her previous reign with Aliyah. Shortly after their fourth title win, Morgan announced a brief hiatus for a Hollywood project, yet she retained her championship status alongside Rodriguez due to the short duration of her absence.
