Celebration of Triumph in New Delhi

The Rajasthan Regals marked their victory in the first edition of the Professional Golf Tour of India’s (PGTI) 72 The League with a celebratory event in New Delhi. During this gathering, officials from the league and PGTI shared their ambitious plans for the future of the event.


This special occasion took place on Wednesday, attended by Kapil Dev, the President of PGTI, along with various members of the golfing community, enthusiastic supporters, and notable guests.


Amrit Mathur, the League Commissioner, announced that details for an enhanced second edition of the league would be revealed soon, emphasizing the organizers' commitment to building on the success of the inaugural season.


Kapil Dev expressed, “Significant efforts have been made to successfully launch the league, but there is still much to accomplish. This marks a promising start and a crucial step for the advancement of professional golf in India.”


Additionally, Amandeep Johl, CEO of PGTI, stated, “Our goal is to elevate this league to the level of the Ryder Cup over time. The first edition has set a solid foundation, and we aim to develop a more robust, larger, and impactful event in the coming years.”


The celebration was hosted by team owners Sonali Jain and Hemant Jain, following the Rajasthan Regals' championship win in the league's first edition. The event was also attended by the leadership team from Haldiram’s, including Shiv Kishan Agarwal, Manohar Lal Agarwal, and Madhusudan Agarwal.
