Initially, the Warriors struggled but were rescued by Karthik SU and Lankesh KS, who helped their team reach a total of 167 runs for the loss of 7 wickets. Darshan MB stood out for the Lions, taking three wickets, according to a statement from the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA).


Choosing to bowl first, the Lions applied early pressure on the Warriors. Anand Doddamani made the first breakthrough by dismissing Karthik CA for 14 runs in the third over, followed by Vidwath Kaverappa, who caught Venkatesh M for just 1 run in the next over.
