South African wicketkeeper-batsman Quinton de Kock has reached the remarkable milestone of 13,000 international runs, becoming the seventh player from his country to achieve this feat. He accomplished this during the third One Day International match against India in Visakhapatnam. The seasoned player continued his impressive form against India, bouncing back from two low scores in the previous matches to score his 23rd ODI century for the Proteas. He made 106 runs off 89 balls, featuring eight fours and six sixes, at a strike rate of 119.10.

In his 311 international matches for South Africa, de Kock has amassed 13,088 runs at an average of 40.24 and a strike rate of 93.71. His record includes 30 centuries and 70 half-centuries across 347 innings, with a personal best score of 178. With this century, his conversion rate from half-centuries to centuries in ODIs has risen to 41.81%, surpassing that of Indian ODI maestro Virat Kohli, who has a rate of 41.40%. De Kock has scored 55 half-centuries, converting 23 of them into centuries.

Additionally, he has equaled the record for the most centuries by a wicketkeeper-batsman, matching Sri Lankan great Kumar Sangakkara with 23 centuries. De Kock has also tied with another Sri Lankan legend, Sanath Jayasuriya, for the most centuries against India in ODI cricket, achieving his seventh century in just 23 innings, while Jayasuriya took 85 innings to reach the same number. In 23 ODIs against India, Quinton has scored 1,191 runs at an average of 51.78 and a strike rate exceeding 93, including seven centuries and two half-centuries, with a top score of 135.
