Ranked 10th in the world, PV Sindhu triumphed over Isharani Baruah with scores of 22-20, 21-12 after a challenging 42-minute match. The third seed faced a tough battle in the first game, which she narrowly won in a tie-break, before dominating the second game to secure her spot in the quarter-finals, as reported by Olympics.com.


Sindhu is set to compete against Chen Su-yu from Chinese Taipei next, aiming for her second semi-final appearance this season after a strong performance at the Malaysia Open earlier.
