PV Sindhu and Harmanpreet Kaur to Headline Bengaluru's First Two-Day HYROX Event
Star Athletes Join India's Premier Fitness Race
Two-time Olympic medalist PV Sindhu and the captain of the Indian Women's Cricket team, Harmanpreet Kaur, are set to participate in the Ultrahuman HYROX Bengaluru, enhancing the event's appeal as India's largest fitness competition.
Inaugural Two-Day HYROX Event in India
Scheduled for April 11 and 12, 2026, at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC), Ultrahuman HYROX Bengaluru will be India's first two-day HYROX event. As per the latest press release, over 8,200 participants have already signed up. This event marks HYROX's debut in Bengaluru, making it the third Indian city to host this global fitness race, following Mumbai and Delhi since its introduction in 2025.
Understanding the HYROX Race Format
The Ultrahuman HYROX Bengaluru will adhere to a globally recognized race format that merges functional workouts with endurance running. Participants will engage in eight 1 km runs, interspersed with eight functional fitness challenges, including SkiErg, Sled Push, Sled Pull, Burpee Broad Jumps, Rowing, Farmers Carry, Sandbag Lunges, and Wall Balls, designed to test athletes of all skill levels.

PUMA's Role and Star Participation
PUMA serves as the official apparel and footwear partner for all HYROX events globally. Under a multi-year agreement, PUMA collaborates with the HYROX team to promote the sport in India and develop a comprehensive range of HYROX apparel and footwear.
During the event, attendees in Bengaluru will have the opportunity to see PUMA athletes Harmanpreet Kaur and PV Sindhu engage in the new sport while also exploring the latest season of the innovative HYROX collection. Spectator Information and Livestream Details
The event will welcome spectators on both days, starting from 06:30 AM, allowing them to soak in the vibrant race-day atmosphere. Tickets for spectators can be purchased at www.hyrox.co.in and at the venue. Additionally, HYROX India will livestream the much-anticipated Battle of the Gyms on Sunday at 4:50 PM on the HYROX India YouTube channel. This competition will feature 26 gyms from across the nation, showcasing fitness communities competing in a test of strength and endurance.
