After securing a 37-run victory against the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), Punjab Kings (PBKS) captain Shreyas Iyer commended Prabhsimran Singh for his outstanding performance and expressed his satisfaction with the team's success.


Under the leadership of Shreyas Iyer and coach Ricky Ponting, PBKS has been performing exceptionally well, climbing to the second position in the standings following their win at the HPCA Stadium in Dharamsala on Sunday.


Iyer Reflects on Home Ground Challenges

In the post-match presentation, Iyer shared his feelings, stating, "I am truly elated. Everyone contributed significantly at crucial moments. Prabhsimran's performance today was remarkable, and his shots were a delight to watch."

Match Highlights: How PBKS Overcame LSG

In the match, LSG won the toss and chose to bat first. A quickfire 30 runs off 14 balls from Josh Inglis, along with a solid 78-run partnership between Prabhsimran and Iyer (who scored 45 off 25 balls), propelled PBKS to a total of 236/5 in their 20 overs.


Akash Singh (2/30) and Digvesh Rathi (2/46) were the leading wicket-takers for LSG.
