New Classroom Blocks Inaugurated by Punjab Kings

New Delhi, June 17: The Punjab Kings IPL team has partnered with Round Table India to unveil three new classroom blocks at two local educational institutions: Government Primary School in Manakpur Sharif, SAS Nagar, and Government Senior Secondary School in Pandwala, as reported by a local media outlet.


The inauguration ceremony was led by Tr. Chaitanya Dev Singh, the National President of Round Table India, alongside Anant Sarkaria, the Head of Operations for Punjab Kings.


Also in attendance were Tr. Anterpreet Singh Sahni, Area Chairman of Area 18, Round Table India, Tr. Arpan S Gupta, AST of Area 18, and Mr. Ashwani Kumar from Punjab Kings.


This initiative is part of Punjab Kings' ongoing dedication to community development. Over the past two years, the project has resulted in the construction of over 30 classrooms, benefiting approximately 34,100 students.


Satish Menon, CEO of Punjab Kings, expressed pride in the collaboration, stating, “We are thrilled to continue our partnership with Round Table India in this essential initiative. The newly constructed classrooms feature modern tables, benches, and blackboards.


Additional improvements to the schools include the establishment of computer labs, new sports facilities and equipment, as well as upgraded toilet blocks.


This initiative aligns with Round Table India's longstanding 'Freedom Through Education' project, which began 26 years ago to provide educational access to underprivileged children.


To date, the program has successfully built over 9,272 classrooms through 3,782 projects, with an investment of ₹485 crores, positively impacting 10.2 million children.
