Pune (Maharashtra) [India], July 14: The Indian Supercross Racing League (ISRL) has officially welcomed the Pune-based Punit Balan Group (PBG) as a new franchise owner for its upcoming Season 3, unveiling their team, PBG Racing.
This move signifies Punit Balan Group's debut in the realm of Indian motorsports, enhancing its diverse sports portfolio that already encompasses investments in cricket, chess, tennis, handball, table tennis, kho kho, badminton, and arm wrestling, as stated in a recent announcement.
Eeshan Lokhande, Co-Founder and Director of ISRL, expressed enthusiasm about the new franchise, highlighting that Punit Balan Group's dedication to nurturing Indian sports and athletes aligns with their vision of creating a world-class sporting environment.
He noted that the group's participation in the league serves as a testament to ISRL's growth trajectory and its potential to establish Supercross as a prominent sporting and entertainment event in India.
