Pranati Nayak Shines in Tashkent

Representing India on an international platform, gymnast Pranati Nayak, affiliated with the Odisha AM/NS India Gymnastics High Performance Centre (HPC), clinched a silver medal in the Vault event at the FIG World Challenge Cup 2026, which wrapped up on Sunday in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. This prestigious event saw participation from 16 nations worldwide.

Pranati showcased an impressive performance throughout the competition. In the qualification round, she secured the second position with a score of 12.875, just behind the top qualification score of 13.325. Building on her momentum, she enhanced her performance in the finals, achieving a score of 13.025 in the Vault event, thereby earning a spot on the podium amidst fierce international competition, further enhancing India's reputation in global gymnastics.
