Bhubaneswar: The BSAO All Odisha Open 10-Red Snooker Championship 2026 concluded with a thrilling match as Asutosh Padhy, known as the 'Prince of Odisha,' secured the championship title by defeating Aakash Mohapatra with a score of 4–2. The final match took place at the 6 Pockets Club and featured exceptional cue sports skills, with Padhy showcasing his accuracy and calmness throughout the frames (53-41, 24-35, 57-06, 55-37, 33-34, 56-01).
Padhy received a cash prize of Rs 15,000 along with a winner's medal, while Mohapatra took home Rs 7,500 as the runner-up. The tournament also recognized the semifinalists, Dr. Rakesh Roshan Pradhan and Capt. Chetan Anand, each earning Rs 5,000. A standout moment was Nishant Biswal's impressive 44-point break, which was the highest of the championship, earning him Rs 2,500.
The prize distribution ceremony was graced by prominent figures, including BSAO Secretary Sameer Ali, Tournament Director Govind Sharma, and club owner Chetan Anand. Ritwick Mohanty, the organizing executive, played a significant role in ensuring the event's success.
