Bhubaneswar to Welcome Prestigious Championships


Bhubaneswar: The Asian Athletics Association (AAA) has officially granted Odisha the rights to host the 2028 Asian Indoor Championships during its recent council meeting.


The championships will take place at the modern indoor facility located within the Kalinga Stadium complex in Bhubaneswar.


Additionally, this venue is set to host the 2028 World Indoor Championships from March 3 to 5.


Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi expressed pride in Odisha's growing reputation as a premier destination for international sporting events.


In his statement, he remarked, “This is yet another feather in Odisha’s cap in the world of global sports.”
