Dan Ndoye Joins Nottingham Forest
Nottingham, UK - Nottingham Forest has officially signed Swiss striker Dan Ndoye from Bologna on a five-year contract. Ndoye had an impressive season, playing a crucial role in Bologna's triumph in the Coppa Italia.
After joining Bologna in 2023, Ndoye made 75 appearances for the club, culminating in a standout 2024/25 season where he scored the decisive goal in the Coppa Italia final, marking Bologna's first major trophy in over five decades.
During his time with Bologna, he participated in eight Champions League matches and concluded the last season with 41 appearances, netting nine goals. His ability to create plays was equally notable, as he provided six assists and excelled in ball-carrying, ranking among the top five in Serie A.
Ndoye's football journey began at the Lausanne-Sport academy, where he progressed through the ranks before making his professional debut at 18. He later played for Nice in France before returning to Basel in February 2022.
Expressing his enthusiasm, Ndoye stated, “I am thrilled to join the Club. It’s an exciting time at Forest, and I immediately wanted to be part of this ambitious project with a rich history. I can’t wait to get started.”
