Nilesh Desai and Samir Shrof emerged victorious in the 50+ men’s doubles category at the Bharat Open, a PWR 400 event sanctioned by the Indian Pickleball Association. This exciting tournament took place from March 20 to 22 in New Alkapuri, Sevasi, Vadodara. The pair showcased exceptional skills in the final match, overcoming Monesh Mashruwala and Kunal Parikh to claim the title.
Earlier in the day, Nilesh also celebrated a win in the 40+ mixed doubles event with partner Swetal Desai, marking a standout performance throughout the tournament. His consistent excellence across different categories was a highlight of the competition.
The event also featured Indian Pickleball Association president Suryaveer Singh Bhullar and Sachin Mandrekar, who secured third place in the 50+ men’s doubles category. The Bharat Open was characterized by competitive yet friendly matches, with Nilesh’s dual victories adding a memorable touch to the tournament.
