Inauguration of a State-of-the-Art Swimming Facility
Bhubaneswar: The inauguration of a 25-meter indoor swimming pool took place in Bhubaneswar, officiated by Sports Minister Suryabanshi Suraj.
This new facility, located at the Government College of Physical Education (GCPE) in Tamando, has been constructed at an investment of Rs 11.69 crore.
During the event held on Monday, Suraj highlighted the government's initiative to establish swimming pools in an additional 13 districts.
He also assessed the development of a nearby football ground and a synthetic athletic track.
The minister encouraged athletes to aim for excellence and to elevate the state's reputation in sports.
