Indian javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra has made headlines by surpassing the 90-meter mark during the Doha leg of the renowned Diamond League Meeting, marking a significant milestone in his career. This achievement places him as the third athlete from Asia and the 25th globally to reach this impressive distance, accomplished on Friday.

The 27-year-old, who is a two-time Olympic medalist, launched his javelin to a distance of 90.23 meters on his third attempt. This remarkable feat aligns him with a select group of javelin throwers, including his coach Jan Zelezny from Czechia, who have also achieved throws exceeding 90 meters.
