Naveen Kumar Set to Make History in Pro Kabaddi League Season 12 Auction
Naveen Kumar's Historic Auction Debut
Mumbai (Maharashtra): The excitement is building as the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) Season 12 Player Auction is scheduled for May 31 and June 1. Among the standout players is Naveen Kumar, who will be participating in the auction for the first time in his six-season career, marking a significant milestone in the league's history.
Naveen Kumar enters the auction with an impressive record, having scored 1,102 raid points during his tenure with Dabang Delhi K.C. He is the first player in PKL history to surpass the 1,000-point mark with a single franchise before entering an auction. His journey with Delhi has been remarkable, consistently leading the team to playoff appearances and championship victories.
"My time with Delhi has been wonderful, and I am grateful for the journey we shared. It has been a great experience," Naveen expressed, reflecting on his six seasons with Dabang Delhi.
This auction debut coincides with the participation of several prominent players, including Pawan Sehrawat, Pardeep Narwal, Devank Dalal, and Mohammadreza Shadloui, among others.
"It's exciting to see so many champion players coming together for the auction. It promises to be an exhilarating event," Naveen remarked about the star-studded lineup of players who have achieved championship success in various seasons.
Despite the uncertainties that come with the auction, Naveen remains committed to his goal.
"My aim is to help whichever team I join become champions. I need to perform well and maintain my fitness," he stated with his usual determination, as noted in a PKL release.
The possibility of reuniting with teammates like Ashu Malik adds further intrigue to the upcoming auction.
"While an individual player can drive a team forward, winning a trophy is a collective effort, as it is a team sport," Naveen concluded, emphasizing the significance of strong team dynamics.
