Natalya Neidhart's Championship Bid Falls Short at AAA TripleMania XXXIII
Natalya Neidhart Competes at AAA TripleMania XXXIII
Last night, several WWE Superstars, including the experienced Natalya Neidhart, participated in the highly anticipated WWE-AAA co-branded event, TripleMania, which is recognized as the premier annual showcase for AAA. In one of the evening's highlight matches, Lady Flammer successfully defended her AAA Reina de Reinas Championship against both Faby Apache and Natalya in a thrilling triple threat encounter.
The conclusion of the match raised eyebrows due to some questionable officiating. Both Natalya and Apache had opportunities to pin Flammer, but the referee's slow counts were a point of contention.
At one stage, Natalya executed a Sharpshooter on Flammer while Apache applied a cross-face, yet the referee intervened, leading to further frustration from the audience.
WWE commentator Corey Graves added to the drama by feigning an injury, which distracted the referee and allowed Flammer to secure a pin on Apache, despite her boots being on the ropes for leverage.
Following the match, Flammer quickly exited the ring with her title, leaving Natalya and Apache to confront each other. The referee had to step in to separate them, but their heated exchange suggested that their rivalry is far from over, hinting at a potential rematch for the championship.
Natalya's Ongoing Journey in Wrestling
This match at TripleMania marked another chapter in Natalya Neidhart's ongoing wrestling journey, as she has been participating in various inter-promotional events throughout 2025. Earlier this year, she achieved victories at Josh Barnett's Bloodsport and faced off for the NWA Women’s World title.
Before TripleMania, Natalya teamed up with Lola Vice to secure a win at AAA Alianzas, while Apache was vying for Flammer's title for the second time during her impressive 736-day reign. Apache holds the record for the most reigns with the championship, having won it four times, with her latest victory occurring in August of the previous year.
