Naomi's Struggles with Cash-In Attempts
After securing the 2025 women's Money in the Bank contract, Naomi attempted to cash it in during two consecutive WWE Smackdown episodes. Unfortunately for her, both attempts were thwarted by former champion Nia Jax, who has now arranged a championship rematch under specific conditions.
During the June 20 episode of WWE Smackdown, Nia Jax entered the ring in the second hour, engaging in trash talk directed at Tiffany Stratton. In response, the Women’s World Champion appeared on the ramp, leading to a heated verbal exchange between the two.

Stratton then declared her intention to face Nia Jax the following week on WWE SmackDown, which will be held in Saudi Arabia. She announced that their match would be a Last Woman Standing contest. Following this, Jax attacked Stratton in the ring, creating an ideal situation for Naomi to attempt her Money in the Bank cash-in.
Naomi, eager to capitalize on the moment, rushed to the ring to cash in on Stratton. However, Jax intervened, pulling Naomi out of the ring, which sparked a verbal confrontation between the two heels. Stratton managed to recover and delivered a dropkick to Naomi, sending her crashing into Jax, thus concluding the segment.

Stratton had previously won the women’s title by cashing in her Money in the Bank contract on Jax during the first episode of WWE Smackdown in 2025. Now, with the current MITB holder targeting her, it remains to be seen if Naomi will successfully cash in next week in Saudi Arabia.
