In a remarkable achievement, the Mumbai Indians franchise has secured its third title in just seven months. This victory further cements their status as the most successful franchise in T20 cricket history. The team has now claimed its 13th T20 title, adding to its legacy as a major player in cricket leagues. Following their success in 2023, Mumbai has once again dominated this tournament.
In the past seven months, the franchise has celebrated three T20 titles, including victories in the SA20, WPL, and now the MLC.
Batting first after losing the toss, the Mumbai Indians faced the New York team, scoring 180 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in their allotted 20 overs, thanks to a blistering half-century from opener Quinton de Kock. De Kock's impressive innings of 77 runs included 6 fours and 4 sixes. However, no other MI batsman managed to score more than 30 runs.
