Williams' Coaching Experience
Williams boasts an impressive coaching background, having received the Bradman Medal for grade cricket three times (2005/2006, 2007/2008, 2009/2010). Over the past two decades, he has coached in Australia, England, and India, including a role as Assistant Coach for England's Women's Team since 2025.
Mumbai Indians' Performance in WPL
The Mumbai Indians have claimed victory in two out of the four WPL editions, specifically in 2023 and 2025, under the leadership of Harmanpreet Kaur. However, last season saw them finishing fourth, missing the playoffs with a record of three wins and five losses. The Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) ultimately won the tournament for the second time.
