In a recent interaction with the media prior to the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026, Mukesh characterized Axar as a captain who prioritizes player welfare, promotes open dialogue, and encourages teammates to showcase their skills on the field. "He is a genuinely good person. His positivity is infectious. I often discuss field placements with him, and he advises me to play with freedom," Mukesh Kumar stated.
Enhancing Skills for T20 Format
Mukesh Kumar has shared insights into his training regimen, focusing on diversifying his bowling techniques to excel in the T20 format. He highlighted the necessity of maintaining consistency with length deliveries while also honing his skills in executing yorkers and wide yorkers, which are crucial in tense match situations. "I am diligently working on all aspects, particularly the length ball, which is essential in T20 cricket. Mastering yorkers and wide yorkers is also important for every bowler, so I am refining those skills as well," he explained.
