Having previously triumphed in 2018 and 2022 at the Gold Coast and Birmingham respectively, she has now achieved an impressive hat trick of CWG golds. Following this significant milestone, Chanu expressed her gratitude towards her mother, Saikhom Tombi Devi, and her coach, Vijay Sharma, for their unwavering support. Chanu emphasized the motivational role her mother plays in her life, stating that her encouragement has been pivotal in her journey. "My mother always tells me that I can do it.
