Mercedes Mone's Latest Championship Victory
Mercedes Mone, known for her 'Belt Collector' persona in All Elite Wrestling (AEW), has once again added to her collection, now boasting four championship belts. Last night, she made a triumphant return to the independent wrestling scene, securing the women's title at the Prater-Catchen event in Vienna, Austria.
In a thrilling triple threat match, Mone triumphed over Lexa Valo and Mila Smidt to claim the EWA (European Wrestling Association) Women’s Championship.

Twitter/X user Pokernatic shared a photo of Mone proudly displaying her new EWA Women’s Title, marking her latest achievement on social media. As fans celebrated her success outside of AEW and NJPW, Mone shared several photos post-event, confirming her return to the U.S. with yet another title.
Having won the TBS Title at last year's Double or Nothing pay-per-view, Mone has held onto the championship for over a year. She is now set to challenge for the AEW Women’s World Championship, currently held by Toni Storm, at the upcoming All In Texas PPV next month, maintaining her impressive winning streak in AEW.

Mercedes Mone's Championship Journey
Mercedes Mone previously captured the NJPW Strong Women’s Championship in a Title vs. Title match against Stephanie Vaquer at AEW Forbidden Door in June 2024. She also retained her NJPW Strong Women’s Championship against Mina Shirakawa and won the RevPro Undisputed British Women’s Championship, making her a four-title holder in AEW.
However, at the 2025 NJPW Resurgence event, AZM defeated Mone and Shirakawa in a three-way match, claiming the NJPW Strong Women’s Championship. Notably, Mone was not pinned during this match, as AZM secured victory over Shirakawa.
By winning the EWA Title in Europe, Mone demonstrates her ambition to expand her legacy beyond American promotions. Each title win enhances her reputation and boosts her confidence as she prepares for her significant match against Toni Storm at All In.
