In a backstage segment during the April 9 episode of AEW Dynamite, Bayne was seen with Penelope Ford and Renee Paquette. Following her defeat to Toni Storm at AEW Dynasty, Ford, acting as Bayne's ring enforcer, encouraged her by stating, “That was a taste of defeat, but it changes nothing. Everything Bayne has been through isn’t erased just because Storm survived.”

Bayne responded with a fierce declaration, “I will make you bow down.” While her words were impactful, many fans were likely more focused on her striking outfit, which included a rose-and-feather crown. One fan echoed a common sentiment on Twitter, stating, “Men used to go to war for women like Megan Bayne .”

Last week at Dynasty 2025, Megan Bayne faced off against Toni Storm in her first pay-per-view title match for AEW. Although she did not secure the AEW Women’s World Championship, her performance garnered praise from both fans and critics for her impressive physicality and in-ring skills.

After the match, her real-life boyfriend and former AEW star Joey Janela congratulated her on social media for her standout performance at the event. The couple has been together since last year and often shares moments from their relationship online. Janela, who has primarily competed in GCW and other independent promotions since leaving AEW, has been supportive of Bayne's rising career.

Bayne joined AEW in February 2024 and has had the chance to compete against some of the most talented women in the division, including Kris Statlander and Thunder Rosa.
