Odisha Athletes Gear Up for Asian Championships

Bhubaneswar: Two talented athletes from Odisha, Astik Pradhan and Sabita Toppo, are poised to represent India at the upcoming Asian Under-23 Athletics Championships 2026, which will take place in Ordos, China, from July 9 to 12.

Astik Pradhan is set to participate in the men's 400m race and the 4x400m relay, while Sabita Toppo will compete in the women's 100m hurdles.

The Odisha Athletics Association has expressed its congratulations to both athletes for their selection to the national team.

Chairman Asirbad Behera, along with President G. Srinibas Patnaik, Secretary Avijit Paul, and other association members, conveyed their best wishes, expressing confidence in the athletes' potential to achieve remarkable results and bring honor to the nation.
