Indian Players Shine in ICC T20 World Cup 2026 Team
New Delhi: Jasprit Bumrah, Sanju Samson, Ishan Kishan, and Hardik Pandya have been selected in the ICC's Team of the 2026 T20 World Cup, following India's remarkable achievement of securing their third title.
Leading the pack is Player of the Tournament, Sanju Samson, who amassed an impressive 321 runs in just five matches.

Initially not part of the starting eleven, Samson made a significant impact with standout performances against both the West Indies and England, culminating in a record-setting 89 runs in the final against New Zealand.
Kishan also had a stellar tournament, scoring 317 runs, ranking fourth overall, and showcasing a remarkable strike rate of 193.29. He played a pivotal role as an opener against Pakistan and adapted well to the number three position, contributing crucial runs in the final.
Pandya, recognized for his all-round capabilities, made significant contributions with two half-centuries and took nine wickets, including a notable 52 runs off 28 balls against Namibia.
Bumrah, who was instrumental in the final, was acknowledged for his exceptional bowling, finishing as the tournament's joint-leading wicket-taker with 14 wickets across eight matches, including impressive figures of four for 15 in the final.
The tournament's top run-scorer was Pakistan's Sahibzada Farhan, who scored 383 runs at an average of 76.60, highlighted by two centuries against Sri Lanka and Namibia.
