Reflecting on his recent health struggles, Stoinis stated, "I didn’t have any practice sessions before this match. Covid-19 is not a topic we discuss much anymore, but it was a challenging time. I took some time to rest at home before returning here."


"Entering the game at the end was tough, but I felt good. I was surprised they didn’t bowl more slower deliveries, as I was prepared for them. The pitch was excellent for batting," he added.


Stoinis also mentioned, "The wicket had some grip, and I was swinging early. The wind was coming from the longer boundary, which we could utilize. If we need to adjust our strategy, we will do so quickly. I’m ready to bowl if needed."
