Manika Batra Withdraws from UTT Season 6 Due to Injury

Manika Batra's Injury Forces Withdrawal

Manika Batra will not participate in the sixth season of the Ultimate Table Tennis (UTT) tournament due to an injury. Ayhika Mukherjee will take her place on the Ahmedabad SG Pipers team. Manika is currently undergoing rehabilitation following an injury sustained at the recently concluded 2025 Table Tennis World Championships.

During the tournament, Alex, who was ranked 46 at the time (currently 47), faced defeat against Park Gahyeon (ranked 64) in the opening round. Manika was selected by the Ahmedabad SG Pipers during the first UTT auction after being released by PBG Pune Jaguars. The Ahmedabad team, which also includes players like Ricardo Walther, SFR Snehit, Giorgia Piccolin, Divyansh Srivastava, and Yashini Sivashankar, is aiming to qualify in WRC3. Ayhika, who was not sold at the auction, will need to perform exceptionally well.
